Craps is a game played by multiple players betting against the casino. The players and the croupier stand around a large oval craps table.

At a Casino Party, players make bets with chips on a specially made craps table with a "layout" – a table cloth made of felt that displays the various betting possibilities. The tables have the shape of a bathtub.

Each table requires about 100 square feet. A party of 100 guests would typically need around 1,000 square feet for setup and play space.

In Calgary we have done events at hotels like the Sandman Deerfoot, Delta Hotel south, Best Western Village Park Inn. Community halls like the Riverbend Community Centre and many others are fine. If you are looking for a venue that brings some flair to it there are a few to choose from, Heritage Park has a few venues, the Aero Space Museum is an interesting place and so is the Sirocco Golf Club.

Each table requires approximately 100 square feet of open space. For example, 3 tables with 2 slot machines (about 30 guests) need around 300 sq. ft., while 100 guests would typically require about 1,000 sq. ft. Extra indoor space is also needed to store equipment cases during the event.
